Rabley Summer Exhibition and Sculpture Opening

The Rabley Summer Exhibition Opening is on Tuesday 25 June from 6 – 8pm. We do hope you will join us to see the work of 27 artists who have been working with us at Rabley Drawing School this year. In the landscape we have two beautiful sculpture installations – Glass Sculpture by Richard Jackson & Sally Fawkes. Metal sculpture by Hans Van Bemmelen.

PRINTMAKING TODAY ARTICLES
The summer edition of Printmaking Today magazine is out now and for this issue Meryl Ainslie was invited to write the ‘Printmaker’s Diary’ entitled ‘Meryl Ainslie and Rabley Drawing Centre Artists Travel the Globe’. This short piece gives a voice to some of our many activities. Also in this issue Anne Desmet RA RE writes in Profile ‘Playing the Game’ and overview of her selection and hanging of the print rooms at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition this year. How proud we are to see three of our Rabley artists singled out for praise: Tom Hammick, Sara Lee (Rabley Artist in residence 2013) and Emma Stibbon RA

Emma Stibbon RA, our newly elected academician take pride of place in the main galleries at this years Royal Academy Summer exhibition with three new drawings from Iceland.
