Sandy Sykes’ exciting one day Sketchbook workshop ‘Fly Your Ideas’ coincided with the SKETCH 2013 exhibition in the gallery at Rabley. Sandy immersed everyone in a day of ‘ideas’ activity – questioning the nature of drawing through a rapid accumulation of imagery exploiting the sketchbook space and viewpoints. With a variety drawing methods Sandy lead a journey to ‘climb through’ into danger zones where risks can enable surprises and where visual problems are challenged and uniquely resolved.

Sandy Will be running another drawing course to surprise in May 2014 – find out more!

  1. A very enjoyable, fast pace, think outside the box, creative workshop – lots of food for thought
for new ideas and approach to using and creating innovative sketchbooks. A brilliant workshop day – and lots of great work produced by everyone, thanks Sandy! Not forgetting a humorous and witty approach to one’s work.
