We have spent two busy days installing SKETCH at the Black Swan Arts in Frome. With the fantastic help and support of the BSA volunteers, Charlie on drill and screws! and Kim Wood from the programming committee the show was up on the walls in a few hours.

AJ put the finer touches, while Kim and I took time out to talk to David Chandler of Frome FM about the exhibition for his programme ‘Seeing Things” – an edited version of our conversation goes out today and will be downloadable from the Frome FM website soon.

This morning with buckets and paint still in the space we had a visit from Maria Miller, Minister of Culture. It was heartening that she was genuinely interested in the sketchbooks and the artists work and spend a generous amount of time with us.
“A great exhibition, really interesting, and an original and brilliant idea” Maria Miller, Minister of Culture.
A big thank you to Black Swan Arts, their trustees and the artinista’s of Frome who have already started to visit the show before the official opening this evening.
