Artist Nik Pollard has just started his yearlong residency at Rabley. He has spent the last two weeks submersed in the local landscape and familiarizing himself with the day to day routines of the array of wildlife here, in particular the abundance of Lapwings and raptors such as the Red Kites.
Nik really takes his time to observe before putting pencil to paper and exploring his drawings through monotype in the print room. We look forward to seeing the culminations of his observations and interpretations over the seasons of 2014.
Nik has also been visiting tutor at our weekly Studio & Print Sessions too!
