Sketch 2017 has now been selected from an international submission of over 500 Sketchbooks. We are delighted to announce the shortlisted prize-winners representing the 100 Sketchbooks to be exhibited in SKETCH2017. The prize-winners will be announced on Saturday 20 May.

Nana Shiomi will be joining us at Rabley Drawing Centre for the launch of her new book ‘This Side and the Other Side: Woodcuts 1996 – 2016’ The book and accompanying exhibition marks the completion of Nana Shiomi’s epic woodcut print series ‘One Hundred Views of Mitate’.

SKETCH OPEN 2017
Submissions are now open for SKETCH OPEN 2017, the sketchbook drawing prize awarded for artists’ sketchbooks. The competition and touring exhibition SKETCH, aims to promote the diversity and importance of drawing and the role of the sketchbook in contemporary creative practice. For the first time SKETCH will be open to international as well as UK based artists.
